Earlier the audio was played on a single speaker or collection of speakers positioned behind the screen. But today people expect to hear sound coming from every direction. Surround sound is an effect which makes the listener feel of being present at the Event, mostly observed in movie theatres.To get surround sound u need to know the posion of speakers, surround speakers and your subwoofer. You should have a minimum of 2 speakers, but a set of 5 or 8 is mostly preferred. This collection of speakers should be placed as below:
